AI Policy
TranSynergy acknowledges the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academic research and publishing. To ensure ethical integrity, transparency, and authorship accountability, we adopt the following policy regarding the use of AI in manuscript preparation and peer review:
1. Use of AI in Writing and Editing
Authors may use AI-based tools for language correction, translation assistance, or idea generation, provided that:
- The use is limited to non-substantive editing (e.g., grammar, fluency).
- The originality, interpretation, and scholarly content remain solely the work of the authors.
- Any substantial reliance on AI for content generation must be explicitly disclosed in the manuscript (e.g., in the acknowledgements or a footnote).
2. Authorship and Responsibility
AI tools cannot be listed as authors, as they do not meet authorship criteria (e.g., responsibility, accountability, ability to respond to peer review). All listed authors must fully stand behind the content of their work.
3. AI in Peer Review
Peer reviewers must not use generative AI tools to process, summarize, or evaluate manuscripts, to preserve confidentiality and professional judgment. Review reports must be original and human-authored.
4. Detection and Misuse
The editorial board reserves the right to use AI-detection tools and take appropriate action if undisclosed or unethical AI use is suspected. Manuscripts found to be generated or heavily modified by AI without disclosure may be desk-rejected or retracted post-publication.
5. Transparency and Disclosure
We value openness. If AI tools were used, please include a statement such as:
“Portions of this manuscript were edited using “…….” to enhance language clarity. The authors take full responsibility for the content.”
